Welcome to Ellie & Eleanor Creations LLC and building your own earrings! While I could just make earrings and have inventory (which I do when the mood strikes), that isn’t really my style. My ADHD demands creativity, novelty, and exploration. Sitting and making the same product 100 times sounds awfully dull.
So I’m letting you choose what you want. Some options are more customizable than others, or you always have the ability to contact me directly and place a truly custom order. All earrings come in your choice of hook or stud, plus some or all of the following options:
For multicolor grannies, gradient grannies, and indecisive grannies, I use 100% cotton crochet thread. Depending on the size, you can pick up to 7 colors. There’s no difference in cost for more colors. Whimsical grannies let you order something beyond these options.
For one thread grannies, you can choose a preferred color and I will do my best to match it. Due to the nature of this thread, these are always mixed colors and no two are the same.
The blue/pink base thread is pictured here, but I have a yellow/red base thread too.
Each product page gives example images of a possible size and style, but overall you will have the option of:
- Small granny square (3 rows, up to 3 colors)
- Large granny square (4 rows, up to 4 colors)
- Double small squares (two small squares, 3 rows each, up to 6 colors)
- A small and large square (two squares, one 3 rows, one 4 rows, up to 7 colors)
You also have the option of adding wooden beads to your earrings, dark or light stain. Due to the size of these granny squares, I currently offer small and medium beads only.
Sometimes I will have other beads or charms or things around, either for seasonal products or a craft I’ve started on a whim.
If you see these used on other products or in a post, you’re welcome to ask if they’re available for you’re own creation! For example, this fall I have glass maple leaves (so pretty!), or perhaps a black skull is more your style?
HAVE ALLERGIES? Please let me know! All hooks and posts are stainless steel and iron, bright single-color threads are 100% cotton, and multicolor “one threads” are 40% silk, 60% wool. If you have any specific allergies, it’s always best to put it in your order notes.
Concerned about shipping time? I offer free standard shipping, so delivery time varies. I aim to complete orders and ship within 2-3 days of the order, but busy times may create a longer waitlist.
If you are ordering for an event or as a gift for someone’s birthday, anniversary, etc. please include this information, along with the date you need it, in your order notes. If I do not think I can complete your order on time, I will contact you, and you can request a refund.
